About Us

We are María Goñi and Alejo Zuelgaray, who in 2022 gave birth to this beautiful project, the result of following a hunch and with the conviction that if it called us it was because many gifts and much growth awaited us if we dared to trust our intuition and make it a reality.

KANUI was born with the aim of accompanying people on their journey of self-discovery with tools that they can use in their daily lives, helping them connect with their essence and feel better. And in that dreaming and receiving of information, we began to share information, tips, products, and different proposals that gave life to the project.

It started as an online store based in Marbella, and then over the months it added new points of sale in different parts of Spain.

A little more about Maria and Alejo

We are Argentinian, husband and wife, parents of Helena, currently living in Marbella, Spain. In Maria's case, she is the one in charge of the business strategy, communication, marketing and finances. She is the one who comes up with crazy ideas all the time, and the optimist who feels that everything is possible. Throwing in the towel is never an option.

Alejo is in charge of developing new products and dealing with operational and logistical issues. He is the most handy, and the one who brings crazy ideas to life. And Helena, the little one, is the star of Kanui, who was there from the very first minute. And who already knows more than anyone about everything Kanui offers.

Did you know what KANUI means?

Kanui means abundance in Hawaiian. And for us, it is abundance understood as that state of consciousness in which you are connected to everything, in which you feel that you have everything. That you lack nothing.

And we wanted a name that represents and reminds us of that at every step.
